Hi, I am Pantelis, LawTech Editor at SCL Student Bytes.

Who I am

I am an undergraduate law student at King’s College London and will be graduating in the summer of 2021. I’m originally from Thessaloniki, Greece but have been living in London for the last two years.

While aspiring to become a solicitor, I’m also interested in legal technology, finance and capital markets. Other interests of mine include music playing (guitar) and basketball.

In my first year of studying law, in trying to figure out what was right for me I worked at Cointelligence, a startup involved with fintech/cryptocurrency and participated in various negotiation and commercial awareness competitions with the KCL Law Society. Last summer, I also worked at Watson Farley & Williams’ Structured Finance and Project Finance departments as a summer legal intern.

In my second year, having developed an interest in commercial law and technology, I attended several open days at city law firms (e.g. CC, A&O) and joined KCL Blockchain eventually becoming Partner (Legal). I had the opportunity to organize student events covering topics related to legal tech and the intersection of law and technology with leading city law firms and legal tech companies. Currently, I am looking forward to working as a summer intern at a legal tech startup and returning to my studies in London in September!

What I do at SCL Student Bytes

As LawTech Editor I work with the Senior Editor to set the direction of the LawTech section of the website, support and manage contributors in producing content and proofing their work. I also help run our LawTech Industry Insiders series, which involves organizing and conducting interviews with leading professionals from law firms and legal tech companies involved in the area of LawTech. From time to time, I produce articles for the website as well.
